My Resolution: Pressing Toward the Mark
by Pastor John Khng
Philippians 3:13-14
Php 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
I. I will not dwell in the past – Phil. 3:13a – “forgetting those things which are behind,”
II. I will focus on the future – Phil. 3:13b – “reaching forth unto those things which are before,”
III. I will set my priority right in the present time, - Phil. 3:14 "as I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
