What the Bible Says About Hell

Scripture Reading: Lk 16:19-31
Introduction:
Hell is often thought of as a place of great sufferings so it is not a very pleasant subject for preaching. We would rather not talk about it and wish that hell does not exist. That is not the case. God’s Word, the Bible tells us about the existence of hell. Today I am going to preach on “What the Bible Says about Hell.”
I. Hell is created for fallen angels, Satan and his demons – Isa. 14:12-15; Rev. 12:3-4; Mat. 25:41 – Hell is a place of eternal torments.
II. Fallen people go to hell because of their Rejection of Christ – Rev. 20:15, Those not found in the Book of life are those who have rejected Christ.
III. God loves mankind and wants every one of us to go to heaven and not to hell - John 3:16; Acts 17:30-34; 2 Pet. 3:9; John 6:37; 2 Cor. 6:2

"How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;" - Hebrews 2:3
